BlackCat is the sister label to
\nWhiteWolf Records. Its purpose is to
\nshowcase undiscovered NY talent
\nand friends of WhiteWolf. High
\nquality beats and intrinsic groove for
\nyour dancefloor.
\nWith BC001 we introduce \u1e62onuga
\naka Femi Shinuga-Fleming. A NYC
\nbased techno producer and DJ with
\nNigerian and Caribbean roots and an
\nextensive background in live
\nexperimental electronic music.
\n\u1e62onuga is interested in the intersections of deep textural soundscapes, layered
\npercussion and shuffled rhythms.
\nHis debut EP, ‘Airing’ explores themes of sound and space influenced by his
\narchitectural studies, while also exploring and paying homage to
\ncontemporary dub techno.<\/p>\n
